What is it about Jews and comedy? Come and discover the links between Freud, humour and Judaism in this special comedy festival panel hosted by scholar Jaice Sara Titus, researcher of improvisational comedy and its relation to philosophy, critical theory and psychoanalysis.

With Dr Brian Kaplan MD, who specializes in using reverse psychology and humour in psychotherapy; Comedian, actor, writer and director David Schneider (‘Births, Deaths and Marriages’, ‘The Death of Stalin’); Comedian Arnold Brown – recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Scottish Comedy Awards; and Devorah Baum, author of ‘The Jewish Joke’ and associate Professor in English literature at the University of Southampton.

Bring your Ego, your Super-ego, your Id and your Jewish mother to an evening of Jewish comedy and philosophy.
