Part of Pocket-sized: stories, words and ideas in miniature
RSA Shorts | Free | 12.30pm
The RSA Shorts, a series of short animations, provides a snapshot of a big idea, blending voices from the RSA public events programme and the creative talents of illustrators and animators from around the world. In our busy lives, RSA Shorts offer a 'mental espresso' of ideas and inspiration to awaken the curiosity in all of us. All of their work, including RSA Shorts, is supported by our 27,000 Fellows who inspire, support and enable new solutions to address the problems of the 21st Century.
The mission of the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) is to enrich society through ideas and action. We believe that all human beings have creative capacities that, when understood and supported, can be mobilised to deliver a 21st century enlightenment. Supported by our 29,000 Fellows, we share powerful ideas, carry out cutting-edge research and build networks and opportunities for people to collaborate, helping to create fulfilling lives and a flourishing society.
Pocket-Sized is a day-long festival celebrating the short form in print, digital and audio formats with some of the most influential thinkers, writers and poets around. The building will be buzzing with talks, discussions, panels, film, a roaming audio lounge and a pop-up bookstore. Buy your ticket for an individual event or a day pass for entry to the whole festival.
