Described as "political theatre at its best", this play tells the personal story of the ongoing struggle Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and her family face after she and her 22 month old daughter, Gabriella, were suddenly taken by Revolutionary Guards in Iran in 2016. Nazanin had been on holiday from the UK, visiting her family. She was tried and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for "secret reasons".

The Independent awarded the play 4 stars, calling it a “must-see show” that “has the audience on the edge of their seats”. It has also been long listed for the Amnesty Freedom of Expression award. This performance has been updated with the latest developments in Nazanin’s ongoing plight.

The play will be followed by a Q&A with Nazanin’s husband, Richard.

Nazanin's Story will be appearing at JW3 for one night only.

This performance has been brought to JW3 in partnership with the Ham&High
