Nadia Atia is Lecturer in World Literature at Queen Mary, University of London. She holds a PhD from the Department of English at Queen Mary, University of London. 
Ariel Kahn is a Senior lecturer in Creative Writing at Roehampton University, where he got his PhD. He studied English Literature at Cambridge and Indian and African Literature at SOAS. Ariel won the Bloomsbury New Voices competition and the London Writing Competition and come runner-up in the national Pulp Idol Fiction competition in 2017. Prior to his academic career he was training to be a Rabbi in Jerusalem. His first novel Raising Sparks has just been published.
