Konstantin Kisin and Noam Shuster- Eliassi
JW3's 2018 Jewish comedians of the year make their triumphant return
Konstantin Kisin and Noam Shuster- Eliassi were jointly crowned Jewish Comedians of the Year 2018, and if you caught their sets at last year’s final then you probably just stopped reading and clicked the ‘Book Here’ button.
Since last year, Eliassi went viral on Arab social media when she said in an interview that she would like to marry Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Kisin made international headlines when he refused to sign a university “behavioural agreement form” which banned jokes about religion, atheism and insisted that all humour must be “respectful and kind”, before bringing his debut hour, ‘Orwell That Ends Well’, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2019.
Noam, Jerusalem born who grew up in the Jewish-Arab village ‘Oasis of Peace’, is a peace activist who worked for a UN peace building initiative and won awards for her initiatives in Rwanda, before deciding to use her god given comedic skills to make people laugh, and think. For the Jewish Comedy Festival Noam will be premiering materials from her new upcoming show.
Konstantin is a regular contributor to BBC and ITV, frequently described as an "objective voice from the centre of the political spectrum". He has written for a wide range of publications, including the Telegraph, Spectator, Quillette, Daily Mail and Spiked. He’s also a regular host at Kilkenomics - the economics and comedy festival.
This event has been made possible with the generous support of Genesis Philanthropy Group.
