Arts & Culture

In October 1943, 7,500 Danish Jews were smuggled out of Denmark under the noses of the German occupiers. But is there more to this 'miracle rescue' than meets the eye?

This discussion will reveal the hidden histories behind this incredible story. Our panel includes award-winning Danish actor Kim Bodnia (The Bridge, Killing Eve) talking about his personal connection to this historical event, along with Danish Holocaust survivor Hanna Skop and other experts on the subject.

This panel will be chaired by Danish journalist Ellen Otzen, who has worked for the BBC, ITV and The Guardian.

You are also invited to a reception following the discussion sponsored by the Danish Embassy, London.
