Jerusalem Tango

1946. At the King David Hotel in Jerusalem a Jewish woman and a British officer dance the tango before the world around them is torn apart. The bombing of the King David was an act of terrorism that shook British Mandate Palestine to its core. 

Ariella Eshed of Tik-sho-ret Theatre company directs this staged reading of Pat Rowe’s play, which shines a light on a defining moment in British and Israeli history.

The reading will be followed by a post-show discussion, chaired by Ned Temko.
