In his short stories, globally renowned Israeli short story writer Etgar Keret plays with fantasy and reality. His own life, too, seems a modern fairy tale. In this hybrid documentary, Stephane Kaas and Rutger Lemm investigate why storytelling is an essential aspect of Keret’s life.

This won an Emmy award in the category 'Arts Programming', it won two prizes at the Master of Art-Festival in Bulgaria and two prizes at the Prix Italia in Capri and 'Best Documentary' at the Jewish Film Festival in Warsaw.

Pocket-Sized is a day-long festival celebrating the short form in print, digital and audio formats with some of the most influential thinkers, writers and poets around. The building will be buzzing with talks, discussions, panels, film, a roaming audio lounge and a pop-up bookstore. Buy your ticket for an individual event or a day pass for entry to the whole festival.
