Ben, A Bar & A Bit of Weight

Classes & Courses

We are delighted to bring back for another showing of Sir Ben Helfgott's film due to popular demand. 'A Ben A Bar & A Bit of Weight' will be followed by a Q&A. Sir Ben Helfgott, a Holocaust survivor and one of The Boys was an Olympic weightlifter and is a national treasure. He has inspired thousands of people, students, opinion leaders and politicians with his story. His son Maurice set out on a mission to unearth and capture the essence of his father, searching for the core values that have shaped his own identity. This is an intimate family portrait of an extraordinary man with universal appeal.

Followed by a Q&A with Director and Film maker Guy Natanel, Producer Laura Granditer and Maurice Helfgott.
