The Rabin government of 1974 - the first to be led by a native-born Israeli - would in fact be the end of the ‘Old Israel’.

Israeli politics since has been largely dominated by the Right, with Netanyahu now having served as Prime Minister longer than Ben Gurion.

Hagai will examine the ramifications of the Yom Kippur War on this historic change, how this led to the formation of a new Israel, and how this all helps us understand what is happening in Israel today.

Award-winning academic and internationally renowned consultant, commentator and keynote speaker Hagai M. Segal is a leading authority on geopolitical issues, strategic risk, the Middle East and counter-terrorism.
